“No one escapes being wounded”, said the late Henri Nouwen, and I am no exception.  Thankfully, that’s not all there is to my life.  Throughout the years the many wounds have been woven together with many graces by the hand of God, and I expect more to come.  God is the Grand Weaver of our lives and all creation, writing/weaving his redemption story throughout time and in everything.  Amidst our wounds Nouwen also reminds us that the one question we must ask is, “How can we put our woundedness in the service of others?”  That is what I hope to do with this blog.

I am a Minister/Pastor in the Reformed Church in America.  Some of the great graces granted to me include my wonderful wife and two kids, and many great family members and friends.  Personally, I am a sincere, authentic, caring, and thoughtful person, seeking to live out and within this thing called faith.  I hope you’ll find encouragement via this blog.  Let’s explore together the tapestries God is weaving together amidst each of our lives.  I look forward to sharing thoughts and stories with you as we journey together.

“My Life is but a weaving
between my Lord and me…” ~ Corrie Ten Boom (Tapestry Poem)
